HEB packaging: Bone Fide Biscuits

Bona Fido Biscuits is a line of premium dog treats designed to fit in HEB’s in-house selection of high-end products. The concept for this packaging is inspired by late 19th century circus posters and the way they highlight the bold and talented in many of their strange and skilled performances. The idea takes imagery used to frame these unique acts and communicate that same rhetoric for dog owners, that this product will help their own special dog be at their top performance with all of the offered health benefits. The name speaks to the organic and natural ingredients used to make the treats, while the title treatment is hand lettered to fit the specific era of typography and poster narrative.
